Event Cancelled


It is with a heavy heart that we have decided that we have no alternative but to cancel the End of Season Bonfire & Fireworks Event which was to be held on Saturday 24th October 2020. This is not a decision we have taken lightly, but feel in the current climate, it is the right decision.

The safety of our residents, visitors, entertainers and volunteers is of paramount importance. As many will be aware the committee start planning for these events at least 12 months in advance.  As there is no guarantee that the restriction regarding the gathering of large crowds will be lifted by October, we need to minimise any losses, and so by taking the decision at this stage we will have achieved this.  We hope to be able to resurrect this event in 2021.

We know that this decision will come as a disappointment to many, however, we hope that you understand why we have come to this decision.

2nd October 2019: Redesigned website

The website has been redesigned to make it easier to use and maintain whilst provideing more information on Blakeney Village and Parish Council activities.

The website recognises that users may be using a range of devices from smart phones through tablets to desktop computers and presents information in the most appropriate layout for each device.
